VBeam\u00ae works by targeting the red color in hemoglobin, helping close the blood vessels that feed the scar, significantly reducing redness and discoloration. This is especially important because scars are often overly vascularized, with more blood vessels than healthy skin. Fraxel\u00ae uses fractional laser technology to create thousands of microscopic treatment zones within the scar tissue. These tiny zones stimulate normal fibroblasts to produce healthy collagen, gradually replacing scar tissue with new, \u201cnormal\u201d tissue over time.<\/span><\/p>
